The Earthshot Foundation reached out to us and asked us to create something impactful for their event at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. They wanted something visually impressive and immersive to engage their audience with their mission. We created a short film highlighting the beauty of our planet while simultaneously implying that if we don't work together to effect change, all of this beauty may cease to exist. The concept, script, and editing work was produced by us. Some of the footage is from our personal library, while the rest is sourced from stock sites.

#filmmaking #kenya #videoproduction Kenya, like many developing countries, faces significant challenges in caring for its orphaned and vulnerable children. According to recent estimates, there are approximately 2.5 to 3 million orphans in Kenya, with about half of these children having lost one or both parents to HIV/AIDS. We created this short video for Kajiado Children's home to provide quick and informative information on the good work they do, why they started, and how to get involved.

This short film showcases Kajiado Children's Home and their wonderful efforts in empowering youth. The home nurtures children to become tomorrow's leaders, instilling the belief that anything is possible and encouraging them to pursue their dreams. Without the love and guidance provided by the children's home, most, if not all, of these children would be living on the streets or in dire situations with no hope for the future. The audience are able to help their children through donating to the home and also through sponsorship of a child. We chose a cinematic, story-driven approach for this video. Our goal was to empower the children and show that we should all have the ability to follow our dreams. Kajiado Children's Home provides the crucial support these children need to achieve their goals.

The concept of this video was to connect with the viewer in a unique way through thought-provoking statements made by Kenyan children. The purpose is to highlight that many people have never truly considered the different challenges young children in developing countries face. We then shift the tone to one of empowerment, where the children proudly express who they are and what they can become. The goal of the video is to encourage new support for the orphanage, as well as ensure the continued support of current donors
