A Story of Survival and Connecting Cultures

About
Refugee Support Services commissioned us to create a short film. The gave us full reign on what we created for them. We chose to put the viewer in the mind of someone who has had to flee their home under the cover of darkness. By allowing the viewer to understand and to imagine what it may feel like it gives them a chance to connect in a new way. When our subject left her home she was very young, we had no footage or images so we chose to have her describe the experience. We added sound effects and music to support her journeyt. We end with a message of support and hiughlighting the importance of community.

Process
Our process begins with in-depth research into the client’s objectives, past campaigns (including their successes and areas for improvement), their target market and audience, and the goals they aim to achieve. This is followed by a production call to review and confirm all details.
Next, we curate a tailored plan and schedule a pre-production call to reconvene, review the strategy, finalize shooting dates, and align on project timelines. We then maintain consistent communication with all stakeholders, handle travel arrangements, visas, location scouting, and secure necessary permits or permissions-essentially managing every detail.
We handle every detail of production, so the client can focus on their business as usual, trusting us to lead strategy and execution.
