DOCUMENTARY FILMMAKING

Short documentaries are powerful tools. They connect audiences to your cause through focused storytelling, presenting complex issues in an accessible format with a clear call to action.

CAMPAIGN VIDEOS

Campaign videos are vital for nonprofits and foundations. They bring missions to life, humanize causes, and inspire action. These visual stories cut through information overload, engaging donors and volunteers more effectively than text alone. They showcase impact, build trust, and amplify reach across digital platforms, making complex issues relatable and urgent.

Traditional types of campaign video; Campaign videos are strategic visual content created to support a specific cause, initiative, or fundraising effort. They come in various styles, including: 1. 'Who We Are' videos: Introduce the organization, its mission, and key team members. 2. Explainer videos: Break down complex issues or processes into easily understood concepts. 3. Impact stories: Showcase real-world results and beneficiaries of the organization's work. 4. Fundraising appeals: Direct calls for donations, often highlighting urgent needs or matching opportunities. 5. Event promotions: Build excitement and increase attendance for upcoming functions. 6. Volunteer recruitment: Encourage involvement by showing the value and experience of volunteering. Each style serves a specific purpose in engaging audiences and advancing the organization's goals.

TIGRAY- ETHIOPIA || A Story of Survival and Connecting Cultures

Filmed with our #sonyfx3 telling the story of Rahel as she fled for her life from her home #tigray #ethiopia We are invited on a journey with Rahel and taken back to her home in Tigray, Ethiopia. As a child, Rahel fled in the dead of the night running from soldiers that were looking to murder her and her family due to the ongoing war between her Tribe of Tigray and Ethiopia. She takes us back in time and we get a small glimpse into the horrors of that night. Now back in present day we find out the war that she once fled from is happening again, and this time it is worse. This video is designed to bring awareness to the war that is happening in Tigray through first hand human experience and story and the inhumane injustice that has been happening since the war began. As the brilliant Maya Angelou once said "Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better." Now we know better we must talk about this until the whole world is shouting about it. We also would like to encourage other refugees to reach out and find support if they need it and community when they are ready for it at Refugee Support Services (RSS). RSS is a wonderful organization designed to support and help newly-arrived refugees make Charlotte their new home. The mission of Refugee Support Services (RSS) is to facilitate programs and intercultural relationships that promote individual autonomy, cultivate social capital, and enrich our community. https://www.refugeesupportservices.org/ You Are Always Welcome.
